Q: What is TOGL LIVE?

A: TOGL LIVE is a new generation web application that provides live multimedia content in an easy to use viewer. TOGL LIVE has everything from TV to radio, travel tools, weather conditions and so much more.

 

Q: What are the system requirements for TOGL LIVE?

A: Windows 95/98/2000/XP/Vista/ 7 operating system, Java installed & enabled, Internet Explorer browser, Windows Media Player, Adobe Flash Player, Quicktime Player & Real Player. For webcams, you will be prompted to install the required free plugins when you first open the webcam. All of the previously listed requirements are either free plugins or are already installed on your Windows operating system.

Internet connection: In order to use TOGL LIVE, you must be connected to the internet. TOGL LIVE is purely a web app. However, in the travel tools, emergency contact information is available offline.

 

 

Q: What is my registration code?

A: Your registration code is a unique serial number that unlocks your trial/evaluation version of TOGL LIVE for single user registration. This serial number will be used along with your user name (your email adress) in order to unlock your copy of TOGL LIVE at the registration screen when you first open the application. Please use a valid email address when you purchase TOGL LIVE. We will send your registration information to that email address.

 

Q: What is System ID in the registration screen?

A. System ID is the identification of your computer system that is required for registration. This id letter/number combination is shown on the evaluation/notification screen when you first run TOGL. After you purchase TOGL, you will be asked for this ID in order to complete registration and receive your unlock key. Click the "Copy" button and paste it in the order form in the "System ID" box .

 

Q: How do I register TOGL LIVE?

A: Follow these instructions:
Double click the TOGL LIVE desktop shortcut or open TOGL LIVE in the Start menu to start the application.
The registration reminder dialog will open.

After you have Copy/Pasted your System ID into the Registration form/Payment process, you will receive your registration code via email, postal or other means.
Important: Enter your name and registration code EXACTLY as they appear on your registration acknowledgment you received.
Click Register - You should now be registered.

 

Q: Can I transfer TOGL LIVE to another/other computer(s)?

A: No. When you register TOGL LIVE, you are registering as a single user. It is recommended to either back up the TOGL file in a secure location or to order a backup CD of TOGL LIVE for reinstallation, but keep in mind TOGL LIVE will only run on one pc per registration.

 



Q: How long is my registration valid?

A: Your TOGL LIVE update content will expire one year after the initial purchase. An updated version of TOGL will become available for a fee of $9.99 to registered users after the year has expired which will enable you to have updated content for the next year. Otherwise, if you elect not to update, you can continue using your version of TOGL LIVE without updated content without limit.

 

 

Q: Do any broadcasts go offline?

A: Yes. Some broadcasts only broadcast at specific times during the day and go offline afterward. Furthermore, some channels may terminate broadcasting entirely. In that case you should make sure that you update the content of your TOGL for replacements and other content maintenance.

 

 

 

Q. Why is a webcam in Live VU not working?

A. The most likely cause is that you did not install the required codec (special plugin required for the webcam) when the page first opened and prompted for it's installation. Once each codec is installed, the cam will work every other time you open the page, unless you have removed the codec from your system. In some cases, the screen may be black and you may not see an image. Most likely this is because it is an outdoor cam with no outdoor lighting and it is night time at the location you are viewing. Also, some cams may go offline permanently requiring that you update your TOGL. When a webcam goes offline permanently it will always be replaced by two alternative webcams in the next update. Also, if you have a firewall make sure it is not blocking TOGL LIVE internet connections.

 

Q: Why is a tv or radio channel not working?

A: The tv and radio channels require Windows Media Player & Flash Player to be installed on your computer so make sure those free plugins are installed on your system. Also, certain channels do not broadcast 24 hours per day 7 days per week, and only broadcast at specific times so be sure to check broadcast times. Just like webcams, our policy is to replace any tv channel that goes offline permanently with two alternatives so that TOGL is always evolving. Also, if you have a firewall make sure it is not blocking TOGL LIVE internet connections.

 

Q: How can I stop script error popups?

A: Internet Explorer browser settings are directly correlated to TOGL settings. You can tell your Internet Explorer to ignore these errors when they occur and not show you an alert about them. Here is the procedure:

•Open Internet Explorer
•In the top menu, Click on Tools and then Internet Options
•Click on the Advanced Tab
•Find where it says “Disable Script Debugging” and tick the box beside it
•Now, Find where it says “Display a notification about every script error” and untick the box beside it.
